60 years ago, Joe Ida wrote orders for 130 Tucker 48s during the 3 day period that his Yonkers, NY Tucker dealership was open for business. After the SEC seized the Tucker Motor Co.'s assets, Preston Tucker was unable to build the cars and fill the orders.

In the interst of honest and fair business, Joe Ida returned every deposit out of his own pocket.

It seems today, the New Tuckers are still easier to sell, than they are to produce. Each car can take one or two years to complete. Each hancrafted vehicle is loved, and refined from beginning to end.

We are currently booked solid building Tucker cars, and will not be taking any orders untill our scheduling allows.
